Description:
The whole of this townland with the exception of a little in cultivation is a rocky, wet and moorish ? of land. Pulleeny village is near the South extremity. Pulleeny stream is near the W. and Lough Inch River is on the E. or parish boundary.
Situation:
A central townland. Bounded on North by Shanafreeoag and Derrycreagh, on E. by the parish of Rahoon in the Liberties of Galway, on S. by townlands Knocknagreana, Furboghgorriv, Cushmaigmore, Knocknavaddy and Stripe and on W. by Ballynahouen.
