Description:
There are large fields of cultivated ground in this townland. More of it to the S. and E. a wet sort of land. Moycullin Lodge and Church in ruins is near the road running from E. to W. through this townland. There is a village called Cloughane near the West boundary.
Situation:
E. of the parish. Bounded on the North by Leegaun, on East by Lough Corrib and part of Tumnasra, on S. by Tumnasra, Clooniff and Ballycurk West and on W. by Killarainy and Ballydothia. This townland has been lately divided into 3 quarters viz.- Ballycurk W., Tumnasra and Moycullen – see alterations on Sketch Map by Mr. Buck.
