Description:
Proprietor, H. Lambert, Esqr., who had it let to tenants at will at £2 per acre, the soil is of a poor, light, sandy clay, and produces inferior crops, houses stone, the inhabitants are apparently very poor. There are several forts in the townland, namely Liss rooa, Lismoylan, Lisheenaday, Lisnabrone, Lissnakerna. The Aggard river bounds townland on East. About 2/0 of the townland is [Unable to read.] cultivated[Unable to read.] along the river on E. a great portion is flooded.

S. W. of the parish. Bounded on the North by the parish of Killeely and townland Aggardmore, on E. by part of Aggardmore, Roo and Ballynamannan, on S. by the parish of Ardrahan and on W. by townland Lissendragan.
