Description:
Proprietor James H. Burke, St. Clarence. Agent , Mr. Lambert, Ballinrobe. This townland is farmed by 11 tenants, some of whom are very poor. Houses built of stone. The rent £1. 5s. per acre. No tenure. Soil light, poor, gravely earth producing potatoes [Unable to read.] wheat [Unable to read.]. There are some lime stone rocks on it. Last Co... Cess 1s. 41/2d. per acre. Nothing remarkable to be seen on it.
Situation:
E. of the Parish. Bounded on the N. by Ballymore. On East by Caheradangan and the parish of Lickerrig. On S. by Cappanraheen and on W. by Roo and Doonard.
