Situation:
Lies at the Eastern boundary of the parish, bounded by the townlands Killeroran and Tully, by the river Shiven which separates it from Muckanagh South in this parish. By Derreen townland in the parish of Toughboy in the County Galway. By the river Suck which separates it from Toughboy and Cloonakilleg townlands in the parish of Tisrara, Barony of Athlone and Co. Roscommon.
