Parish of Ballynakill is bounded on the N. by the parish of Kileroran, on the N.E. by the parish of Ballynakill, Barony of Ballymoe, County Roscommon, on the East by the parish of Oran and Dunammon in the latter Barony and County, it is also bounded on the East by the parish of Kilbegnet, Barony of Ballymoe, County Galway, on the South by the parish of Kilkerrin, Barony of Tiaquin and on the West and N.W. by the parishes of Bweeounagh and Kilcroan, Barony of Ballymoe and Tiaquin, County Galway.
