Newtown Glinsk Village is in the S. portion of the townland. |
Glinsk Castle | castle | This castle appears to have been destroyed by fire, the exterior walls alone standing the inside of which have a blackened appearance. The lintels of all the doors, windows and chimneys are burnt out and the architecture is the same as that of the O’Donnells Castle in the town of Donegal. |
