Description:
Proprietor John Lambert, Esq., No. 15 Kildare Street, Dublin. Agent James Darcy, Esq., Clifden Castle. Present rent 15 shillings per acre part held by proprietor on which there is a Lodge now building. No leases. Soil part very rocky and some good clay. Co. Cess 20¼d. paid per acre, 68 acres half yearly. Lough of Kill, Old Abbey with burying ground attached, a holy well, Tubber Flunnaun, Lough-na-halla-gerra-va, bay of Ardbear, Kill Village, Cloughaun-begga .
Situation:
In the North side of the Parish bounded on the North by the Atlantic Ocean, West by Drimmeen, South by Keerhaun South and on the East by Drinagh. In the Barony of Ballinahinch and Co. of Galway.
