Description:
This townland is the property of Elverd Esq., who holds it under a deed for ever. It is situated about 4 ½ miles South West of ballinasloe, the roads are in good repair. It all under arable and pasture and of a middling quality. It contains 229a. 3r. 16p. Amount of County Cess £10. 2. 6.
Situation:
Lies in the S. West of the parish in the barony of Cloonmacnoon, is bounded by Ballagh West, Ballagh East, Carhookeel, Ballynoo, Gorrylawrence, Ardranny Beg and Lissneenavannoga Blake townlands in said barony.
