This townland is the property of John Gerrard, Esq. by deed for ever. It is flat and dry, all under pasture except a good 20 acres of bog, of rather bad description. It is situated 11 miles North of Ahascragh and pays £3.10.11 County Cess. It contains a. r. p.
Situation:
Lies in the S. West of the parish is bounded by Gunnode, Rushestown, Windfield and Ballynalahy townlands in this parish and by Carhooagoppul in the parish of Ballynakill in the barony of Killian.
