Description:
Proprietor Lord Oranmore, Castlemontgarret, Co. Mayo. Agent Laurence Glynn of Castlemontgarret or Jerrard Strickland, Esq., of Loughglynn. All in proprietors possession. Soil pretty good. Produces good crops, wheat and potatoes. County Cess 11 ¼ d. paid per acre for 54 acres. This is attached to Ashford. No antiquities.
Situation:
In the South East side of the Parish. Bounded on the North by townlands Clogher and Cappaghorkogue: West by Cappaghorkogue. South by lough Corrib: and on the east by Ashford. In the Barony of Ross and County of Galway.
