Description:
Proprietor Thomas Martin, M.P., Ballinahinch Castle. Agent Walker Mons, Esq., Oughterard. This townland is held by 6 farmers and 3 cottiers under them. No lease. Last County Cess 2% per £1. Soil light moory nature producing potatoes, oats and flax. Houses made of stone walls. Poor cabins and tenantry poor. There is a spa well in this townland. Also grave yard where children are buried called Darkanianleeaun. Nothing more remarkable.
Situation:
N.W. of the parish. Bounded on the North by Aubwee, on E. by Pullogh, Lisheena, Keeraun and Drum W., on S. by Corboolia Lynch and part of Drum West and on the W. & N.W. by the parish of Moycullen.
