This village consists of about 47 houses and contains nothing worthy of remark.
Situation:
Derrawode village is situated on the North and South side of a road leading to Ballymoe, which passes through the South portion of the townland of Derrawode. There is also a portion of the village on the N.E. side of a bye road which branches off the aforesaid road.
