Proprietor James Gildea, Esq. of Clooncormack near Hollymont. Agent Thomas Fair, Esq., Roundfort near Hollymont, Co. Mayo. Rent £50 per year. Some steep rough heathy pasturable mountain some arable do. and coarse boggy pasture. Crop of oats middling but the potatoes very bad. Co. Cess 11¼d. paid per acre half yearly for 31 acres. Village of Maumtrasna, Cap-a-thunnugh a mountain. Antiquities Corrigeen-waun-trannee, Illaun-yawbran-nee, Illaun Fhada, Corrigeen-bunnahown, Corrigeen-baur-a- lena.
Situation:
In the North side of the parish bounded on the North by the Lough Parish B.holla, on the West by Aughagower Parish, Co. Mayo and townland Dhuletther, South by Dhuletther and Cummer, and on the East by Glanbeg West and Lough Mask. In the Barony of Ross and County of Galway.
