Description:
Is a small arm of the sea about 30 chains long and about 5 chains wide at its mouth and ending with a point where it meets Gulfin River. It becomes a strand at low water. It is fatal to boatmen at its mouth where a strong gale blows generally; from which it got its appellation.
Situation:
Situated in the N. part of Gulfin and Lettegesh East. It is bounded E. by the first and W. by the latter townlands.
