A Demesne so called. It is under plantation and ornamental ground. Shannon Hill House is situated in the West end, the residence of Matt Conolly, Esq. It commands a good view of Lough Derg and the surrounding country.
Situation:
About the centre of the townland of Derryvoluan and about 3 miles N.E. of Woodford.
