Description:
This townland contains a large portion of bog, one Trig. Station, a portion of furze, two Dh. forts, a few houses. The road from Killimer to Kiltormer passes through its East.
Situation:
In Barony of Longford. Bounded on the N. by Derreen Boy and Cloonlahan Geoghegan, in the Parish of Kiloran. On the N. by Walshtown in the parish of Kiloran, on the E. by kill in the ph. of Kiltormer and on the South by Ballyvaheen and Eskerboy.
