Description:
It is the property of Mrs. Reddington, containing 478 statute acres all under cultivation with the exception of 10 acres heathy pasture; it is bounded on its S.W. and E. by two roads leading from Athenry to Claregalway and Monivea. There is a large village of houses near its Southern extremity and the ruins of a church 27 chains from its N.E. angle. West its general surface varies form 138 to 225 feet above the level of the sea.
Situation:
It is 1 mile North of Athenry bounded on the N. Ballydavid Middle, on the West by Parkmakle and South by Cullairbaun and Cahirroyan townlands.
