Soil part deep and part light. The greater part is pasture and crops, of part tilled very light. Co. Cess 14d. paid per acre. Antiquities 2 forts, Andrew’s fort and cave and 2 cairns Kildrum, Sisly’s Cairn, a cairn?.
Situation:
In the East side of the parish bounded on the North by the parish of Killower and townland Carrowlistrane, West by Stone Park, South by Carrowcunlon and Kilwolan and on the East by the parish of Killower. In the Barony of Clare and County of Galway.
