It is about 4 miles S. West of Kilconnel, is situated in the western side of this parish in the barony of Kilconnel is bounded by Killaghmore, Killaghbeg, Ballanful, Ballynaglogh, Gurtnahoon, Toormore and Eastwell townlands in said barony in this parish, by Glanaskehy in the parish of Kilreekil, barony of Athenry and by Turkeyland and Ashbrook in the parish of Killaan and barony of Kilconnel.
