Description:

This townland is the property of Lord Ashtown, held by a deed for ever. It contains a.r.p. about 1 acre of which is swamp (in the N.E. side), the remainder is arable. It is flat and dry of middling good quality and in a good state of cultivation. County Cess £2. 17. 6.

Situation:

Is situated mostly in the southern side of this parish in the barony of Kilconnel, bounded in same barony by Ashbrook Cloonaclookaun Castlebin South, Castlebin North, Gortfadda, Radullaan and Lissnavulthaun in this parish and by Killaghmore in the parish of Killallaghtan.
