Description:
John Blakeney, Esq., Proprietor. This townland contains 526 acres, 133 of which are cultivated, 122 uncultivated, 256 bog, 15 ½ wood. Lease 21 years. Rent £1. 1s. p. acre yearly. County Cess 2s. 6d. p. acre yearly. Tythe 1s. 4d. to 1s. 6d. p. acre yearly of what is cultivated. Produce potatoes, oats, flax, barley. Soil is of a light clayey nature. Mineral limestone. No antiquity.
Situation:
Situated on the W. boundary of the parish about the centre of parish boundary. It is bounded N. & W. by the parish of Abbeyknockmoy, E. by Wingfield Demesne, E. by the parish of Monivea.
