Description:
Robert French, Esq., Proprietor, receives his own rent. This townland contains 218 acres 207½ of which are cultivated, 10 wood, 1½ water, is held under a lease for ever by Mr. Edward Trench at the yearly rent of 7s. p. acre.. No Co. Cess. The rock limestone, the soil light. Produce potatoes, corn, wheat and flax. It has on it a neat house, 2 stories high, the residence of said Ed. Trench. Nothing remarkable.
Situation:
Situated on the S. boundary of the Parish and near the Southern extremity of said Parish. It is bounded N. by the townland of Gurteendrissagh, E. by Poulacrassaun and the Parish of Monivea, S. by Dunaan, W. by Kilbeg and Carhooferikeen.
