Site of Kilcommodan Church and burying place for children
Description:
St. Ruth’s flag is a black irregular stone supposed to be over his grave previous to his being removed from Kilcommadan. The old Church is built at the foot of the hill (Kilcommadan) is about 80 links by 30 in breadth. The burying place is small about 140 links by 40 links.
Situation:
Are situated in the S.W. part of Kilcommadan townland. The flag stands about 5 chains N. East of the old Church, the burying place bounds its South side.
