Situation:
In the Baronies Clare, Dunmore and Tiaquin. Bounded on the N. by the parish of Tuam in the Baronies of Dunmore and Ballymoe and an isolated portion of Dunmore parish in the Barony of Ballymoe, on the S. and E. by the parishes of Moylough, Abbeyknockmoy and Kilmoylan and in the Barony of Clare and on the W. by the parish of Cummer in the Barony of Clare and the parish of Tuam in the Barony of Dunmore and Ballymoe.
