Propr. Maurice Blake, Esq., Ballinafad, Co. Mayo. Agent Anthy. Blake, Esq., Galway. This townland is held by 3 tenants at will. Rent 20s. per acre. Soil light clay and rock, producing wheat, oats, potatoes, etc. Nothing remarkable on this land save a fort from whence this townland derived its name.
Situation:
South of the parish. Bounded on the North by Ballymore and Killeenavarra, on E. by Killeenhu and Ardrahan Parish, on South by said parish and on W. by Paurkrooa, Gurtabwee and Lisheeninaan West.
