The property of Mr. O’Reily, Dublin. It contains statute measure, all arable land. There is an ancient fort in the central part of this townland called Ballanlass Fort.
Situation:
Ballanlass. In the E. central part of the parish. Bounded on the N. by the townland of Cluid, on the W. by Killoony, on the S. by Cloonmore and on the E. by Carhookeelanauglass.
