Description:
The property of Henry Handcock, Esq., Carrowantrila. It contains 723½ acres statute measure including about 130 acres of bog and 55 acres of a plantation and 8 ½ acres of water. Carhooantrila House is on the W. end of this townland. There is an obelisk on the S. side of Carhooantrila House. There is a Trig. Station on the E. end of townland called Carhooantrila and three ancient forts.
Situation:
In the interior of part of the parish bounded on the N. and W by the Barony of Dunmore, on the S. by Carhoooagur and Carhookeel and on the E. by Gurteen.
