Description:
The property of ? Bodkin Esq. M.P. Quarrymount, it contains 237 ¼ acres statute measure, including about 35 acres of bog. There is a Trig station in the central part of this townland. There are two ancient forts in this tnd., one in the S, called Knockatoura Fort, another in the N. E. called Lisnagranaid.
Situation:
In the interior of the Parish bounded on the N. by the Barony of Dunmore and townland of Tubbernaclug and Cluid, on the S. by Carhooantula and on the W. by Baunogues N. and the Barony of Dunmore.
