This parish in its greatest extent from East to West is 3 British Miles and from North to South 2 ¾ British Miles nearly. It is divided into 15 townlands. The principal roads leading through this parish are from Galway to Dublin and from Galway to Tuam. The nearest marked town is Galway.
Situation:
In the County of the Town of Galway. Bounded on the North by the Parish of Oranmore in the Liberties, on the E. also by Oranmore in the Liberties and part of Oranmore in the County, on the S. by Oranmore in the Liberty’s and Galway Bay, and on the W. by the Parish of Rahoon in the Liberties.
