Proprietor Robert French, Esq. of Rason. Agent John Blake, Esq., Minlow. All held under a lease by Timothy Hanly, Kilroe. Rent 10 shillings per acre. Soil light and stoney. Produces middling crops of wheat, oats and potatoes. Co. Cess paid per acre is the full cess 14d. per acre half yearly. There is a track of a small river through this townland. Kilroe Lodge and offices stand on this townland. No antiquities.
Situation:
In the East side of the parish bounded on the North by the towland of Knockkeareen, on the West by Ballydonnelan, South by Ballynu and on the East by the parish of Annaghdown. In the Barony of Clare and County of Galway.
