Description:
The seat of James O’Hara, Esq., an itenerant absentee. This house stands on a neat eminence North of Coole Demesne and River ? South South East. A neat building in form of a cottage two stories high and appears to have ? many alterations since its first erection. There is an extensive Demesne? enclosed on the East and North East extending more than two miles along the old Mail Coach Road from Gort to Galway. Good gardens, orchard, ?. Neat office houses.
Situation:
In the townland of Raheen Demesne, Barony of Dunkellin and County Galway, West of the old Mail Coach Road from Gort to Galway.
