Proprietor Thomas Lahiff, Esq., Gort. No agent. Let to 4 occupying tenants at will from 35s. to 40s. per acre yearly rent. County Cess 2s. 11½d. per acre. Tithe 1s. 0d. per acre. Size of farms from 8 to 15 acres. Soil strong sandy clay. Usual crops wheat, oats and potatoes, barley. No fuel. Prevailing names Fahy. Part of this townland occupied by the proprietor under cattle and sheep. It lies close to the East side of Cregaclare Demesne. 4 forts in this townland and a cave in one of them. Authority James Lambert, Esq.
Situation:
In the South of the parish of Ardrahan, Barony of Dunkellin and County Galway, West of a road leading from the village of Ardrahan to Castle Daly, close to the East side of Cregaclare Demesne.
