Description:
Saint Keiran’s Bed is level with the surface of the ground 70 by 45 links. There is a small river here which served the saint for a Dwelling House and Chapel, about 9 years ago, 1829, a very high spring tide rose here, and flowed? ¼ mile all round this bed, and several feet higher, but never touched the Bed, this is asserted by tradition.
