Description:
A small parish chiefly under cultivation. Dalystown Demesne the residence of Dr. Farrel is in the S. West end, it contains about 1,000 acres of plantation and ornamental ground, and the road from Woodford to Loughrea passes through it.
Situation:
In the Barony of Leitrim and Loughrea in County Galway, about 14 miles N. West of Portumna and about 7 miles North of Woodford.
