Description:
The water which flows in this Ravine is decidedly the same which runs through the Punch Bowl, a little distance East of this Ravine. It flows in the Ravine about 1/8 of a mile and sinks again in the ground. Runs under ground through the places called the Ladle and Churn (pools) and appears again 1/4 of a mile of the Churn at Poulduvh (or Blackhole) See Book No. 1, Pages 49 , Parish of Beagh.
Situation:
In the townland of Prospect, Parish of Beagh, Barony of Kiltartan and County Galway. A short distance to the West of the place called the punch Bowl, and described in Page 73 of this book.
