Description:
Proprietor Morris Blake, Esqr., Cloughballymore. Agent Anthony Blake, Brownville, Galway. Occupied by 7 tenants. The rent from 7s. to 10s. per acre. This townland is a bed of limestone rock, the small quantity tilled thereon produces potatoes, bad wheat and oats. Houses of stone in middling repair, the County Cess is 1s. 4d. per acre on the road side is a group of houses called Gurtarooa.
Situation:
W. of the parish. Bounded on the N. by Drumacoo parish, on E. by townland Muggannagh and Killeenavara parish, on South by said parish and on W. by Mulrooag East townland.
