Tithe withheld by the tenantry. Quit rent 2d. per acre. Size of farms form 2 to 5 acres. Usual crops:- wheat, oats and rape and potatoes. Fuel plenty. Prevailing names Fitzpatrick and Kinneely. Ballinakilla Lough and Island nameless in this townland also part of Loughatekepple on the boundary. Pike, trout, perch and eel in these Loughs. In the East of the parish of Beagh, Barony of Kiltartan and County Galway. East of Loughattickipple, West of Ballynakilla Lough, East and West of a road leading from Ennis to Gort and South of Loughcooter and the Castle.
