Cappagh BridgebridgeA good bridge built of stone and mortar about 1 chain in length. It stands over Cappagh River which flows South E. about 2 1/4 miles where it unites with Lough Derg on the River Shannon.

Cushaloughpart of a townlandA portion of the townland, so called, on which there is a R. C. Chapel and a school house also some farm houses, but does not consist of any matter remarkable. Tubbernagloia is in the north end.
Deer Parktrigonometrical stationThis park contains many deer. There is a house in the S. W. extremity used as a cover for them, and Ballydunnagh Deer Park Trigonometrical Station stands near the centre of an enclosure in the East end 202 feet above low water mark.

There is a Castle in ruins close by houses and about 3 chains West of a fort near the centre also a subterraneous passage [Unable to read.] 27 chains West N. W. of the fort.
DerrybegtownlandThere is much bog in the N. East end of this townland. The South end contains two Glebes. There are several miserable houses in the townland.
DerrywillinhouseA good dwelling house, the residence of Mr. Kilkelly. It has some plantation and ornamental ground about it. It does not represent any matter worthy of remark.
DooeskerhillThis hill is principally under cultivation. It consists of some furze and a piece of bog on the east end most probably this hill was composed of bog some time ago.

Kelly's MillswellA large flour mill so called. Edward Kelly, Esqr., is the proprietor, by which it has derived this name. Well known in the County. There is a good dwelling house about 2 chains west of this mill also some plantations and ornamental ground.
KilcorbantownlandA small townland bounded on the East by a river which separates it from Bailahanry Aaqrun Hill and Gurthenumameara in the Parish of Lickmolassy. There are several large islands and Eel Weirs on this river. A new bridge on the South end called New Bridge. It contains a burying place and the site of a church also a Fair Green the South end.
Killeen NorthtownlandThis townland is all under cultivation except some pieces of furze. It is bounded on the East by a river, and the road leaving from Portumna to Woodford and Gort forms part of the Southern boundary.

Otters IslandtownlandAn island in the river (the eastern boundary of this parish) it does not represent any peculiar appearance and only a place where the otter makes use of its pray otherwise a station for resting while fishing.

Pallis House is situated near the centre, a spacious dwelling, the residence of Lord Riverstown, about 10 chains west of the house, is Pallis Castle, an antiquity. It commands a tolerable good view of the surrounding country.
