E. through the townland; there is wood on each side of the road.And Lough na Saggarth belongs to the townland as also a portion of Acre Lough, the remainder of the land is tillage and pasture. |
Carrowkeel | townland | There is a portion of bog having a pond in it, situated at the South boundary of this townland. There is a junction of 3 roads of the N. W. extremity of the bog and another that road leading to Dunammon passed from S. W. to N. There is a large tract of bog and a Lough in the Northern portion. There is also a portion of bog along the East boundary. There are two forts in the South portion.
