W. extremity of the bog and another that road leading to Dunammon passed from S. W. to N. Loughanargid | lake | This Lough contains nothing remarkable. It is divided between the townlands of Carhoonaglogh this parish, Rossmoylan, parish Kilbegnet, Clooncaa and Clooncanny, parish of Ballynakill.There is a tradition that a man fishing in this Lough was so fortunate as to haul up a bag of money, hence the name, airgiad being silver money. |
